From big data to actionable insights. I believe that a first research phase can be completed in 10 working days. Because research is an ongoing learning process. And sometimes it takes hands-on work to get to market quickly but still first level validated. But if there is time and budget for a holistic big data research it's always the most potential layer for a successful customer journey.
UX Research Services
Thanks to my wide-ranging experience, I can always provide the right research framework.
Leveraging data-driven insights to enhance user-centered products and decision-making For me, the very first task is always to really understand the initial situation. Write another briefing in my own words, fine-tune it and validate it. Getting all parties involved on the same knowledge track is crucial for me. From my experience it saves a lot of friction and time when all people are on the same page. Cause if all people feel heard and understand we have a "WE" in the process. And this always release more qualitative potentials. So we all start the research with the same understanding. I make sure we have clear objectives and focus on a user-centric idea. Based on this little phase of clarity I choose the methods that get the maximum output with the budget I have available.
The research consistently prioritizes real user needs, behaviors, and pain points, ensuring that the insights are genuinely reflective of the target audience same as of the business goals. I'm using diverse methodologies: a mix of qualitative (interviews, usability tests) and quantitative (analytics, surveys); methods to provide a well-rounded understanding of user experiences which still matching the budget. In research, the quality of implementation is often the key factor. You can conduct 60 superficial interviews without sensitivity or 25 with substance and the necessary emotional soft skills. I have contained through all years of personal development a very sensitive tool box of soft skills. For me, the HOW's and WHY's bring the most interesting results.
Extract the actionable items
Research documentation is just as important to me as the high quality output of the individual methods. Big data is good, but it also needs to have a certain standard so that it can be used effectively. The findings are not just data points but are translated into clear, practical recommendations that can drive design and product decisions. A research report should be able to: Identify the problem; Validate the target audience; Show opportunity areas; Uncover user needs; Highlight critical factors, Come up with niche potentials; And showcase key moments. Such a report should always offer the extracts for starting further development with user stories and hypotheses. Not just a collection of big data.
